Story Summary:

Charles Henry Brazier was born in Gosport, Hampshire in 1882. He is registered as having been a military birth with the Royal Artillery which suggests that his father, James Brazier was in that regiment. 
Charles Brazier joined the army as a 14 year old boy in 1897 and served in the UK, Gibraltar and Sierra Leone.
In 1906 Charles was given permission to marry Ada Harriet King on the 22nd July in Shoeburyness.
They had 2 children, Winifred May on 10th June 1907 in Shoeburyness and James Henry on 25th October 1914 in Hartlepool.
Lt Brazier died on the 17th February 1916 of 'A sickness contracted overseas.'
